Automated change of details and a large buffer capacity Challenge

Challenge
To create a large buffer of details using automated change and different grippers and lathe chucks.

Solution
In a high stock where the customer can place materials equipped with robotic grippers and machine chucks. Everything is run by a superior HMI where the customer creates a “recipe” for each detail which is placed in a queue.

Result
Automated change of details and a large buffer capacity. 

Unmanned quick flows for long runs Challenge

Challenge
Quick processing cycle, 7–15 seconds. A variety of material.

Dual InVeyor equipped with two robots for feeding and output.

Long unmanned runs with short setup time.

Substantially increased capacity in small space

A great variety of products. Quick flows and short setup times. Great buffer capacity.

Solution
Two robots mounted upside down leaving details on pallets where they are weighed and air blown clean. The third robot exchanges pallets, leaving them on wagons for transport down the production line.

Result
Four older machines were replaced with two new, totally automatized machines.

Quick quality guaranteed production

Challenge
Shafts are to be high tolerance lathed. The next step includes transportation further on in the production using as low staffing rate as possible.

Solution
A robot using vision system picks shafts from pallet. Lathing, air blown cleaning, measuring, labeling and placing of material on pallets. All is maneuvered by a 19” user friendly screen.

Result
Quality guaranteed production and short setup time.
